The Greve’s graphics

Le grafiche di Greve

In May 2023, after a bouldering sesh in Valmasino with the others of the group, Nic realized how climbers always joke about the same things and take other things far too seriously.

We climbers like to tell ourselves stories, we know it.
You know that friend who says "this is THE try, I can feel it" and then doesn't budge for another ten attempts? Or when he can't send because "there are no conditions"? This is how Greve's graphics were born, with the idea of mocking those clichés so loved by climbers.

Who draws them? And who if not someone outside the climbing world? Someone who can laugh heartily at us climbers. After all, we’re just climbing rocks, and not even from the easiest side…

Let us introduce you to Francesco Quadri . Born in 1989, director, visualizer and storyboard-artist, he is the illustrator behind the Greve’s graphics, the one who puts down on paper the humore of us climbers.

Armed with paper and pencil , Francesco brings our craziest ideas to life, with his distinctive style and remarkable patience. After all, it can't be easy to draw a crashpad if you've never seen one!

Greve's graphics are unique, born from a sheet of paper and a pencil, simple objects we’re losing confidence with today. It’s a return to simplicity , to handmade, to the little things... an aspect that is very dear to us and forms the basis of our brand’s handmade philosophy.

We’ll let his work speak for itself…

"guys, give me a take please"

F*ck the rest

"F*ck the rest" is dedicated to those who don't rest between one try and another, to those who try the single without having the slightest hope of printing the block, to those who need the unload always and in any case... never give up!
"no guys, too humid today"

Just a matter of conditions

Greve's iconic graphic, dedicated to those who constantly complain about the weather conditions... we love you anyway!
Greve's tribute to the most famous boulder

"Sweat Dreams"

"Sweat dreams” is inspired by that boulder that makes pros sweat and little climbers dream… it's our tribute to the unmistakable Burden of Dreams!
"the little train has left!"

"Catch the train"

"Catch the train" is inspired by the iconic CIUF-CIUF moment, when the first member prints and the little train sets off… everyone aboard!
